Find Answers to Your Questions About Our Mental Well-Being Programs
How do Mighty Champions programs integrate with our current school curriculum?
We collaborate with school staff to ensure our Program complements and enhances existing educational programs. We focus on minimal disruption to the core curricular classes and develop multiple alternatives to meet the needs of School Leadership and Teachers. We work hard to ensure alignment with the Vision & Mission as well as effective implementation.
What age groups do you cater to within schools and organizations?
Our program is most effective for middle school through high school levels, as well as instructional staff. Outside of K-12 schools, the program is also highly effective for young adults and adults of all ages.
Are Mighty Champions services available year-round or just during the school year
We offer our services all year round to accommodate varying schedules of schools and organizations, including Summer Programs. We understand that highly effective School Leaders plan 6 - 8 months ahead of the upcoming school year. We can be most effective during this "planning" time to ensure that the Program aligns with the Vision, Mission, and Values of the School. This also allows time to plan for effective implementation.
Any Certified Teacher as well as a Staff Member with a Bachelor's Degree in any content area.
How can parents or guardians get involved with your services?
Parents and guardians can join our engagement initiatives like workshops and seminars to learn more. Parents can also teach their children using the Book while at home.
The Mighty Champions Curriculum Program IS NOT THERAPY nor a replacement for Therapy. The program is effective with ALL Teens in Middle, High, and beyond. The Program teachers students strategies and tools to use when teens lose control of their emotions, as well conflict with friends. It also provides strategies to be a more effective problem-solver and decision-maker. Please see the "Ten Competencies" about mid-way on this page.
